Wedding Upmarket – The Bohemian Secret Garden.

With all things Bohemian having become such a popular trend throughout all aspects of design, our talented little troupe quickly developed a hankering to put on a show that exudes thoughtful creativity and challenges pre-conceived notions. Steering away from the norm of nomadic tribal features, our minds have been brimmed with inspiration from the baroque days of ancient Bohemia; a picture that is painted by a lavish, avant-garde take on the ornate details of Old Prague, Salzburg streets and the walled gardens of central Europe. With those seeds sown in our minds, our creations have taken shape in the form of bountiful displays, intricate installations and a whole lot of luxury, thus unveiling a splendid little secret garden, fit for a Queen of Bohemia. – Chloe Hope-Johnstone

Our bride and groom couple, Fleur and Leon, were named after a friend of, Lines and Squares creator, Chloe Hope-Johnstone. Says Chloe. “Fleur is the most insanely beautiful girl and if she were a bride, would be a modern day Queen of Bohemia in absolutely every sense.”

Tamara Harrison of  Tamara Harrison Design and I, had our very own Bohemian Boudoir brimming with all things beautiful from opulent gowns and accessories to Baroque-style necklaces, hand embellished shoes, pearls, flowers and sparkling brooches and bouquets!

The amazing Anna of Botanica Naturalis designed the sumptuous central table display using authentic vintage china from The Vintage Table, grapes, pomegranates  and an array of architectural flowers, leaves and orchids that quickly became similar to that of an old master-style hand painted  fine art on canvas!

Chloe Hope-Jonstone of Lines And Squares designed the beautiful menus and name tags that were tied to the pear stalks. The little jars of Turkish delight  displayed on the central table alongside her own display were bound with paper, string and baroque-styled labels.  Her attention to detail is amazing.

The intricate and detailed styling from Sarah of  Heart Strings and Pretty Things, to the edgy, hip and unexpected backdrops from Holly of  Hello Love, our little Bohemian Secret Garden was teaming with excited brides to be from 10am right through to the end, feasting on sweet treats from Tania Harris of  Le Petit Macaron,  all captured on film and video by Hugh and Luna from Stellar Visions.

As a team of creatives we had an amazing day, our aching feet and sore throats will confirm that after tempting our customers with our beautifully styled Bohemian inspired pre-wedding shoot competition.  We cannot wait to keep you posted with  continuing  inspiration from the team.

Spend a little time swooning over the fabulous prettiness and images from Hugh!!
