Jasmine and Tim and a Century old lace wedding veil.

December 2012 saw the wedding of Monique, our very first Australian wedding. December 2013 saw the wedding of Monique’s sister, Jasmine and both brides chose very different styles.

Jasmine knew she wanted lace so we sourced  a soft corded English lace over ivory silk dupion, but while excited about the gown I was to design, I had to consider the 150 year old authentically vintage veil Jasmine was going to wear with it!

The lace was chosen with this in mind as as usual when looking for lace, I went straight to my trusted UK supplier. The match was perfect. It had quite an open weave opposed to the traditional tulle.

Jasmine and Tim married at Peel Manor House, a beautiful venue with a glorious setting for any wedding. The bride took advantage of our personal dressing service and it was super to be a guest as well.
