I have been blessed to work with such talent over the past few years.

Rob Booker at our vintage shoot February 2011

And again in October 2011 for the release of our Sirens Collection.

James Melia, Autumn 2011 and again recently for a special 16th birthday.

Jo Bilham Make Up. Kizzy of Charisma Hair and Jane of H F Couture, all who contributed to our Sirens collection shoot, three of our preferred wedding suppliers. Trusted, loyal and totally amazing.

And Cherish The Dress creator, Chris Hanley.
No.9 was privileged to provide a very special gown for a photography workshop in Tuscany, Italy last year where special guest photographer, Chris, held the workshop for a team of delegates hosted by world renowned wedding photographer, Damien Lovegrove.
I have to be honest and admit the recent shoot, Dave’s Bed, we have been involved with, along with our National Wedding Industry 2012 award win in January this year, has certainly been the highlight so far. We were delighted when Chris Hanley agreed to be the photographer for the shoot. Not only that, but Chris brought on board Marry Me Films who were to capture the whole thing on DVD, but arranged the loan of £40,000 worth of gems from Midas Diamonds, Manchester.
Dave’s Bed. No point in even asking what or who Dave is. It was our covert name for the shoot held at Sutton park Stately Home, York and all I will say is Dave is a very real person, but his identity will remain a secret between the team involved! If we told you, we may have to kill you!
All involved have been working for months to prepare for what happened on Thursday 12th April. I don’t think any of us have experienced anything like what took place.
It was an extremely emotional day, hard work, a shoot where each set was timed to the minute.
I looked around and found it difficult to contain my emotions and it wasn’t until make up artist, Jo Bilham came in to the changing area (a rather grand loo/cloak room) when she broke down. The release of emotions brought everything to the surface. “We did this,” she said. Yes, Jo we (the team) most certainly did!
Ahead of the two short film releases and what will only be described as the most amazing images, I’d like to take the opportunity of thanking the team.
Jo. Sorry for the constant texts, the tears, the fears and for having to sit in a car park to collect the important macaroons from Claire!
Jane. Faithful friend, designer of the most beautiful and elaborate headpieces you could ever imagine. That bird rocks!
Kizzy. Where would we be without your hair creations? and thank you for giving Jess her long hair!
Allison. For arranging the stunning venue and introducing us to Jean.
Our models, Lyndsey, Nicola, Iona, Jess, Ellie and Sam. Not professionals, just everyday folk from teachers and nurses to Students and geologists.
Sara and Tony. Sending over the film preview yesterday means I can’t stop watching it. That’s us in that there film that is!
Midas Diamonds for your exquisite pieces.
Last, but by no means least. Chris Hanley and Claire. There really isn’t enough words to say how very grateful and delighted we as a team felt working with you.
Jane asked me to pass this on.
“I am utterly in awe of Chris’s talent. Just feel so completely privileged to have been a small part of the team. So many people could learn so much from him.”
Much love N0. 9 and the team of Dave’s Bed!
